Data controller
The controller of your data is CHIN RICHY, a sole trader (entrepreneur individuel) trading as Mifasola, SIREN 106 310 931, 8 Esplanade Nova, 94800 Villejuif, France. For any question about your data or to exercise your rights: contact@mifasola.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
Data we collect
Via Firebase (Google), Mifasola stores: your account ID, email, name, username, bio, profile photo or emoji, the songs you post (title, artist, caption, date), your comments, your messages (text and voice), and your follow, block, and mute relationships.
How we use this data
This data is used solely to run the app: showing your profile, journal, feed, conversations, and notifications.
Multiple accounts
If you link several accounts on your device, each account has its own data, stored separately; the only information shared locally is what's needed to show the account switcher (name, avatar).
Private notes
The private notes attached to your posts are encrypted on your device before being saved, with a key that never leaves your phone. Neither the Mifasola team nor anyone with access to our servers can read them. If you set a recovery phrase (Settings → Note encryption), a copy of your key - itself encrypted with that phrase - is kept so you can recover your notes on a new device. Without that phrase, nobody, ourselves included, can reopen them: a forgotten phrase means permanently unreadable notes.
Messaging
Voice messages are stored on Firebase Storage and only accessible to the two participants in the relevant conversation. Messages, both text and voice, are encrypted in transit and on our servers, but they are not end-to-end encrypted: unlike private notes, the Mifasola team can access them, in particular to handle a report.
Sharing with third parties
We never sell personal data. Song searches query the public Deezer API, without sending any data about you beyond the search term. Links to other listening platforms are entered manually inside the app: no third-party service is queried to obtain them.
Reports
Reports you send (about a profile, post, or comment) are only viewable by the Mifasola team, never by other users.
Retention
Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. Deleting your account deletes your profile, reserved username, saved list and all your posts, including the comments and likes they carried. Messages you already sent remain in your correspondents' conversations, attributed to a deleted user: they are part of their history too.
Your rights
You can update your information at any time (Settings → Personal information) or delete your account (Settings → Security).
